And then, at last, a room was done! The carpet layed. the paint pots lidded.
It was a good day. And the loft was happy.

Industrial Action

Hetty has been on stike now for 2 days and it is unclear whether she will return to work. She cites long hours and a dusty work environment as reason for laying down tools. The owner of the house was forced to take over today in an unusual act of defiance. Hetty was heard to whisper 'scab' under her breath. Let's hope for a return to work tomorrow.
